The National Disability Institute (NDI) partnered with several national disability organizations for two listening sessions to discuss the current impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the disability community. Several members of the Clear2Connect Coalition were among the groups who shared valuable insights on the most crucial issues facing their members and the work they’re doing to advocate for much needed services and supports. Presenters highlighted the critical need for people with disabilities to continue to access services and supports throughout the duration of the pandemic. As such, it’s important that we work hard to advocate for the protection of access to quality captioned telephone services, which is and will continue to be a vital service.
